Most of our selections are exclusively sold on-premise. However, over the last couple of years some of the top wine retailers in California and New York have made inquiries about the availability of our selections. We are happy to announce that some of our wines are available now at these select CA and NY retailers:

  • NEW YORK

If you happen to be in the Los Angeles area, please feel free to visit our company retail wine shop where you can find the current WaVES portfolio on display and for sale.

To schedule an appointment, please call us at 1-800-WINEDAY (946-3329).

Every single estate in our unique portfolio has been hand-picked and never been imported into the USA before. We are the exclusive US agents for all of the wines we represent.

We are quite proud that we've made Ligurian Pigato 'famous' and were the first US wine importer to introduce DAC Gruener Veltliner, Lagrein, Schiava, Rossese, authentic Lambrusco, Vitovska, Terrano, Malvasia Frizzante, Malvasia Istriana, CdL Vermentino, Moscato di Terracina, Cesanese, Gutturnio, Longanesi, Centisimino, and the first "East German" wine to this country.

After 17 years of importing (1991-2008) fascinating wines we continue the search for wines that are not only VARIETAL CORRECT and of the HIGHEST QUALITY but also a PLEASURE TO DRINK. ALL of our selections are imported in refrigerated containers (known as 'turned on' reefers).

Thanks to the following great wine buyers JKI has been able to expand its restaurant clientele in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York:

  • Los Angeles
  • Felidia (1997)
  • {Dan Perlman/
  • Richard Luftig}

We are proud to count the following restaurants among our clientele and thank them for their continued support:

Time Out New YorkBACARO LA
Los Angeles Times, The Guide "Located in the former Le Porcini Ristorante space, Bacaro LA is a new wine bar in a neighborhood not known for upscale merlots. The North University Park/West Adams wine bar, opened by former A.O.C sommelier Santos Uy (along with partner Danny Kronfli) will also serve small plates with their upscale selections of wine. Expect a selection of pannini's and the ubiquitous "cheese plate" at Bacaro. But the focus here will be mostly on wines from around the world; with an emphasis on "adventurous" Italian varietals. The bar, which has a rustic feel and chalkboard walls, will open in April."bacaro la
